CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
REFORMER PILATES

REFORMER FOUNDATION Beginner friendly, NOT just for beginners! Discover the transformative benefits of the Pilates Reformer, or brush up on your skills while you stretch, breath and tone with a focus on classical reformer exercises developed by Joseph Pilates. You'll receive a low-impact full body workout that will leave you feeling taller and leaner, improve your core strength, flexibility, balance and coordination. This class is osteoporosis, osteoarthritis and minor back issue friendly; however, you do need clearance from your medical care provider and to let your instructor know about any issues that need special consideration.
REFORMER 1-2 In our mixed levels class, some experience and knowledge of the reformer is assumed, and if needed you should know how to apply any basic modifications to safely practice with an injury, osteo or spinal condition. We layer in more challenging variations, choreography and endurance-building holds to build on your core foundation! Breathing, centering, precision, control and relaxation remain priorities in keeping with classical principals of Pilates. Prerequisites are attending five Reformer Foundation classes or instructor approval.
REFORMER 2 This class is more technically and athletically challenging for experienced practitioners who have completed at least eight 1/2 classes (or received instructor approval), have a working familiarity with reformer exercises, and who are comfortable with jumping, inversions and balance challenges. Prerequisite for joining this class is an ability to hold plank for 60 seconds, and no physical limitations or conditions that require modification.
JUMPBOARD REFORMER Attaching the padded jumpboard levels up the cardio benefits of your reformer workout- and the fun! Enjoy a whole new dimension to your pilates practice that is both challenging and also low impact on the joints. Good condition and a strong core are required for jumping. Attending eight Foundation or 1/2 classes is prerequisite, but please call to discuss if you're not sure!
MAT PILATES

HEATED PILATES MAT FUSION 90 degrees I intensity level 2/3 Ignite your energy and sculpt your body in this dynamic, full-body contemporary Pilates mat class. We begin with a creative warm-up flow then invite using props and weights to build your strength and endurance through sculpting and movement patterns featuring targeted isometric holds, pulses and always a strong core sequence. Leave lengthened, aligned and fully energized for your day. **Beginners in good condition are welcome (please let your instructor know). Some Pilates experience is recommended. Not recommended where injuries or low back conditions are present.
WARM PILATES MAT FUSION 80 degrees I 1+/3 Take a personal hour for yourself in this more gently heated class (about 80 degrees), set to a moderate pace. We'll move through a sequence of Pilates core-strengthening exercises creatively integrated with flowing, dance-inspired movement to condition your entire body. Fluid transitions and an emphasis on breathing and stretching will develop flexibility, coordination and balance while engaging your mind-body connection.
YOGA - HEATED
60 minutes
YOGA SCULPT 90-95 degrees I intensity level 3/3 In this fun, sweaty and active 60-minute class we'll use hand weights to add cardio challenge and build strength within a yoga-based, full-body workout set to an awesome playlist. Expect to sweat! Hand weights are optional, with 2, 3 and 5-lb. sets provided. You're invited to bring your own weights, up to 8 lbs. only please! Also plan to bring your water bottle. Grippy towel optional; small hand towels are available a courtesy.
HOT YOGA + VINYASA 90 degrees I intensity level 2+/3 We set the infrared heat to 90 for this detoxifying and challenging, dynamic vinyasa flow, incorporating static poses drawn from traditional Bikram practice to create a tour de force fusion of the yogic modalities. Music is curated to enhance the experience. Expect greater challenges to your balance, flexibility and strength, making this class appropriate for more experienced practitioners who are looking to advance their practice, and are comfortable self-modifying as needed. WARM VINYASA YOGA 1-2 80 degrees I intensity level 2/3 Our moderately heated, signature mixed-levels yoga class fuses guided breathing with creatively sequenced asana to help you focus the mind and find greater freedom within your body. We begin with seated poses before making our way to standing, with peak asana taking us through a few vinyasa transitions. The majority of class is individually paced with your breath guiding your unique pace of movement. Please let your instructor know if you require any special modifications before class. Unify mind, body, spirit and community in this 60-minute offering.
YOGA - UNHEATED

VINYASA YOGA 1-2 intensity level 1+/3 Our unheated version of our signature mixed-levels yoga class fuses guided breathing with creatively sequenced asana to help you focus the mind and find greater freedom within your body. We begin with seated poses before making our way to standing, with peak asana taking us through a few vinyasa transitions. The majority of class is individually paced with your breath guiding your unique pace of movement. Please let your instructor know if you require any special modifications before class. Unify mind, body, spirit and community!
CANDLELIGHT HATHA FLOW intensity level 1/3 Immerse yourself in a candlelit setting for this gentle Hatha yoga class, blending movement, breath and sound for relaxation and recovery. Each posture in this intentionally paced slow flow focuses on alignment and breath awareness, promoting flexibility and clarity. Soothing vibrational sound frequencies enhance the experience. The soft glow of candles creates a tranquil space to unwind and restore harmony. Ideal for all levels, this class offers peace, balance and holistic rejuvenation.
INFRARED SAUNA BLANKET
50 minutes $39 per person
Extend the benefits of your exercise regimen with a session in one of our infrared sauna blankets by Higher Dose. You'll relax under the gentle weight of this amethyst and clay infused weighted blanket as the far infrared heat assists the body in sweating away impurities, soothing inflammation and detoxing your system. Choose to wear comfortable long sleeved clothing and socks that cover your ankles, or request a towel insert when you book and bring your bathing suit. You'll customize the level of heat you receive on your personal dial. Even those who swear they aren't sauna people get hooked on this blanket.
Singles are set up in one of our private treatment rooms. With advance notice we can accommodate couples in the same treatment room, and groups of up to four in our yoga studio. Please call or email us to discuss before booking.
Drift away with us in this full-body sensory immersion where you will unplug, get grounded and experience deep relaxation. The session begins with optional aromatherapy, light hands-on massage/reiki and application of a weighted eye pillow. You will be guided through intention-setting, breath work and visualization, all to assist your body in settling into stillness.
Once we begin playing the clear quartz bowls you'll float through different levels of wake/sleep consciousness as you absorb the healing vibrations, intermixed with contrasting sounds of tuning forks and wave drums. Return refreshed and ready for a great rest of your day or evening!
Sound bath is traditionally received lying down, although accommodations can be made as needed, please ask. The studio provides yoga mats, yoga blankets, eye pillows and a limited supply of pillows and bolsters, included in pricing. We encourage you to bring along your favorite sweatshirt, fluffy socks, cushy mat or comforter and any other personal items to maximize coziness and comfort during the sound bath.
